Rebalance Now is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that opposes corporate power. Monopolisation in many sectors, from tech companies to supermarkets, harms consumers, the environment and democracy.
Rebalance Now counteracts this development with research and expertise, education and information. Economic policy instruments and, in particular, competition law must be used more decisively. To this end, we support the growing anti-monopoly movement in Germany and Europe, work together with interested academics and form alliances with other civil society organisations and companies that are critical of power and compatible with our mission statement.

We push back the monopoly power and promote a change of course towards a diverse and democratically accountable economy. We want to promote a more balanced economy that offers people more freedom and development opportunities, distributes profits, costs and risks fairly around the world and respects ecological limits.
// What we do
1) We analyse the concentration of economic power in various sectors and shed light on the damage to people, the environment and democracy. We explain why the concentration of economic power is a central social problem.
2) We use competition law and other instruments to limit the power of individual companies and their abuse. To this end, we contribute our expertise to competition proceedings in Germany, Europe and internationally.
3) We are building a movement for a diverse economy. We encourage and enable people and organisations to participate in competition and economic policy.
4) We are working on the model of a diverse economy that combines decentralised markets, public infrastructures and alternative approaches. We support economic structures that are more balanced and more focused on the public interest.
