Transparency is important to us. That is why we have joined the Transparent Civil Society Initiative. This initiative has defined ten points that are intended to make non-profit organisations transparent to the public. Here you will find information about our statutes, our funding and use of funds and internal structures:

3. information on tax concessions
The Cologne-North Tax Office (tax number 217/5961/2602) confirmed in its exemption notice dated October 1,2025 that Rebalance Now is exempt from corporate income tax pursuant to Section 5(1)(9) of the Corporate Income Tax Act and from trade tax pursuant to Section 3(6) of the Trade Tax Act.

Rebalance Now is represented by an elected full-time Executive Board. There is also an honorary Supervisory Board, which monitors the Executive Board, among other things. Information on the Executive Board and the members of the Supervisory Board can be found on our team page.

Currently, we have one full-time board member and three employees. You can find the latest information about our team on our Team page.

Rebalance Now plans to fund itself through a combination of foundation grants, donations, and subsidies. We are currently supported by the Schöpflin Foundation, the Mercator Foundation, and Misereor. You can find a breakdown of our 2025 revenue under Funding.

9. corporate affiliation with third parties
We are not bound by company law.
We work together with other organizations in the following networks:

10. names of legal entities whose annual payments account for more than 10% of the total annual budget
In 2025, grants from the Schöpflin Foundation and the Mercator Foundation accounted for more than 10% of the annual budget (see Funding).
