Rebalance Now has a full-time team and an honorary Supervisory Board. The Executive Director manages the organisation, while the Supervisory Board advises on the strategic direction and monitors the Executive Director.

Executive Director
co-founded LobbyControl. With Rebalance Now, he has launched a new project that aims to limit corporate power and advocates for a diverse economy. He helped set up the European Anti-Monopoly Network in 2022 and is co-coordinator of the initiative “Konzernmacht beschränken”, which campaigns for a more balanced distribution of power and resources in the economy. Aline Blankertz
Tech Economy Lead
works on how the power of technology companies can be restricted and on how competition economics analyses needs to evolve. She has been working for many years on tech markets, platform regulation and alternatives for public interest, including at Wikimedia Deutschland, the think tank interface and the economic consultancy Oxera. Supervisory Board
Nelly Grotefendt
works as a consultant for economic and trade policy at Forum Environment and Development. In 2018, she co-founded the “Konzernmacht beschränken” initiative.
Sebastian Philipps
is a management consultant and co-founder of Better Earth. He previously worked for a think tank, the Asian Development Bank, Accenture Strategy and in the German SME sector. He supports Rebalance Now in a personal capacity.
Tina Haupt
works at WEED – World Economy, Ecology & Development on economic and development policy issues such as foreign trade promotion and corporate power. She organised a conference on corporate power in November 2023.
Friederike Hildebrandt
works as coordinator of the network Bits & Bäume for a socio-ecologically just digitalisation and as a freelancer at communia e. V., a think tank for socialisation and democratic economy.
