7) Social media buttons
The Rebalance Now website uses buttons with the so-called Shariff solution from Heise to share content on social networks. The Shariff Wrapper plugin based on this is used.
The usual social media buttons transmit visitor data to the social networks each time the page is accessed and thus provide information about your surfing behavior. You do not need to be logged in or a member of the network to do this. In contrast, a Shariff button only establishes direct contact between the social network and the visitor when the visitor actively clicks on the share button. This prevents you from leaving a digital trace on every page you visit and improves data protection. Further details on the type and scope of data stored when clicking on the buttons can be found in the privacy policies of the individual providers:

8) Disclosure of data to third parties
Your data will not be made available or accessible to third parties for use outside of this declaration.
To carry out our tasks and handle our business processes, we use the services of external companies and provide them with data for data processing on our behalf. This is the case, for example, with our contact and donation database, which is managed and hosted by an external service provider. We conclude data protection agreements or order processing contracts in advance with all external service providers who process personal data from us. The service providers may only process the data for the execution of the order in accordance with our instructions, the involvement of subcontractors must be approved by us, and the data is deleted after the end of the order.
9) Your rights such as information and objection
Irrespective of the above, you can object to the use of your data at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR and revoke any consent you may have given to the use of your data at any time, for example by sending an e-mail to info@rebalance-now.de.
If you revoke your consent to data processing or object to the use of the data, this does not affect the legality of the data processing up to the time of revocation. The legal basis is the right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR “Conditions for consent”) and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR “Right to object”).
You can also have the data we have collected and stored corrected, blocked or deleted at any time. We expressly point out that there may be legal obligations to continue storing data, in which case the data can only be blocked. The legal basis is the right to data rectification (Art. 16 GDPR “Right to rectification”), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR “Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)”) and the right to restriction (Art. 18 GDPR “Right to restriction of processing”).
You also have the right to data portability in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. You also have the right to know what data we store about you (right to information (Art. 15 GDPR “Right of access by the data subject”)).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR. The competent supervisory authority for Rebalance Now is the State Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia.
